My son Dana was shot and killed when he was up to Los Angeles
to visit his younger brother. He was sitting in the back seat of an
acquaintance car and my younger son (Daniel) was sitting shotgun. They
were going to pick up Daniel's girlfriend from work on Canoga Ave. in
Woodland Hills, Ca. when a Pearl White Cadillac Escalade EXT pulled up
next to their car and rolled down their black tinted windows and shot over
17 bullet holes in the car my sons were in. One bullet hit Dana between
the 4th and 5th vertebra. He told Daniel "Dan, I can't feel my
legs" within 15 minutes he went into cardiac arrest and never
regained consciousness. His murderers have never been caught. They didn't
know he was the father of 3 children, the brother of 2 brothers and 2
sisters, a father and stepmother and his stepfather and me his mother who
will remember him every second of everyday. His wife lost a best friend
and his friends not only lost a good honest friend but a man of God who
was also a bible study teacher and a spiritual advisor. I look forward to
seeing him someday, but until then "I LOVE YOU MY WONDERFUL,
THOUGHTFUL AND OH SO SPECIAL SON. YOU'LL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS AND ON
OUR MINDS"! I'll never rest until they find his killers. I want them
to know what they did to my grandchildren. That my granddaughter win 2nd
place in the San Diego Art Institute and her painting was shown at Balboa
Park and in Long Beach. Many people saw it but not her Dad.
